Candy

Dear Dr. Arsenault,

We wanted to thank you for all that you have done to keep Candy with us. As you well know, she was critical when you first met her. She had spent three days in the hospital receiving emergency care and we were preparing for the worst.

But your attention, your knowledge and your devotion to her care helped her condition stabilize and gradually improve. It’s been almost two months since her crisis and she shows no signs of being the same little dog. Now she runs and is playful and sometimes we forget just how serious her health challenges are. You gave us the gift of your hopefulness and your encouragement. Without your constant assurance we may have made different decisions and therefore missed out on the joy she has brought to all of us.

You, Kirsten and Beverly are so wonderful. You always take our calls for help and you always take the time to coach us through rough times. We will forever be grateful for all that you have done for Candy and for our family.

We take things one day at a time and taking care of Candy is an experience we are so grateful for. As long as she is in good spirits we will continue to do all that we can to keep her with us. We consider every day that we have her with us as a true blessing!

Dear Dr. Arsenault,

Thanks for taking such good care of me. It’s been 14 months now since I first came to you with my heart problem. I still can’t believe you removed 7 liters of fluid from my body when I first came to visit you when I was so very ill!

I felt like a new dog after I left your office that first day! My family did not think I was going to make it the night before I visited you, but they promised me that if I held in there that night they would take me to see you. It was difficult, but I made it through that night! As promised, they brought me to you, and myself and the family are very appreciative of your care of me.

My family has included some pictures of me. I still love to play ball when they let me and here I am bringing one back in one picture. The other picture I am just being my handsome self!

Buddy

Dear Dr. Arsenault,

Ken and I want you and your wonderful staff to know just how very, very grateful we are that you have given us this very special time with Buddy.  Being in Maine is literally heaven on earth for him.  When we were close to arriving, within 3 miles or so of our summer home, he instantly became a new dog and continuously barked until we walked him down our driveway to the rocks.  As you can see, at least for now, he is loving every minute!
